ALTER NOMINAL VAL ON A DIMENSION

ALTER NOMINAL VAL ON A DIMENSION

ALTER NOMINAL VAL ON A DIMENSION

(OP)
Regarding 200i2
I want to customize the nominal value on a dimension in a drawing whilst keeping the leader lines where they are. Whenever I pick two lines and place the dimension, the (nominal val) cannot be altered.
Can this be done?
I will appreciate your help.

RE: ALTER NOMINAL VAL ON A DIMENSION

If you want to change the text of your dimension:
Click on that dimension-->Right mouse button-->Properties-->Dimension Text-->replace "D" with an "O"-->Type whatever you want after brackets.

If you want to add tolerances to your dimension:
Click on that dimension-->Right mouse button-->Properties-->Tolerance Mode-->and pick whatever you want from that menu.

You have also the possibility to customize your config.pro file, and your .dtl file.

RE: ALTER NOMINAL VAL ON A DIMENSION

This is possible in case of created dimensions and not for dimensions which are shown from model.

The "O" stands for "omit the nominal value"...
