ANIMATION 101

ANIMATION 101

ANIMATION 101

(OP)
I need to have one part continuously rotate at 60 RPM while other parts along different paths.
I can CREATE PATH for one revolution, but I want this to rotate for 1 minute at 60 RPM.
How can I cleverly do this?

RE: ANIMATION 101

With animator it's 35% engineering and 65% artistic ability.

You can edit the path and add new points along the path, even after you make the intial path. I'm sure this is possible to do. I have made a drill plunge into a block of steel for a customer before while spinning, but I haven't spin the drill with multiple parts moving. But I'm pretty sure this is possible.

You should have your boss send you to Animator & Photoworks training.

Unfortunately there's no time for training.
I need to finish this tonight - crunch time Baby!
I can get something to work - by making multiple paths with consecutive schedules - but it looks jerky in the final animation.
The only way I can smooth it out a little is to make 24 path points in each.
I'll have to keep plugging.
