Curves From File

Curves From File

Curves From File

(OP)
Another quick question.

We worked with an outside design group on a project.  When they finished, they sent us the Pro E files.  After looking them over I didn't see anything that impressive (other then the project was done) except how the layed logos on the part files.

It seems they used datum curves, no big deal.  But they used datum curves created from a file and the file has almost 11,0000 curves in it.  I know there is no way someone created the file by hand.  Does anyone know of a program that reads vector files and spits out a file that proengineer can read to create datum curves.  It is really aewsome how it works........

RE: Curves From File

You can copy anytime datum curves (not only surfaces) using the "Publish geometry" and "Copy geometry" features.
Try it for yourself!

RE: Curves From File

They could just use projected curve to logo surface and then "pattern" it.
