Problem with dot and comma

Problem with dot and comma

Problem with dot and comma

(OP)
Anyone had this problem?

Sometimes, when I want to modify a dimension value, if I enter as usually a decimal value with a comma, solidworks wait for a dot and rounddown my value when I strike enter for regenerating. Very dangerous. What I have to make, is to go into Options,Document property, Unit and increase the number of decimals then decrease it at the original value. After that SW accept like before my comma.(???)

RE: Problem with dot and comma

Jeanpaul,

Check your international settings - sounds to me like SW is waiting for a decimal point "." not a comma "," - if your national configuation is not set up to suit your language preferences, SW will look for the "." and treat the "," as text, ignoring it and everything else after it.

But my problem whas not with all my parts, only from time to time, very, very strange, I suspect a strange insect
