Does anyone out there have any experience with creating Adobe Acrobat PDF files from AutoCad.  We currently have a PDF writer we got with our scanner software but it only creates drawing sizes no larger than "B" size (11" x 17") so that "D" size drawings are scaled down to "B" size.  We would like to create files that are "D" size (22" x 34").  Is this possible with Acrobat?

Thanks,

RE: PDF Files

Dont u have to use Adobe Distiller to do this? just a thought.

RE: PDF Files

Only with the full version or one of the adobe products that installs a PDF printer (which will show up in your start>settings>printers area)use that to print

RE: PDF Files

Hi Steve,
If you go to the web site www.contlp.com there is a free download called 5D PDF creator. this has all the variables you require. I ahve been using this with both ACAD14 and 2000.

Hi Steve, Don't want to butt in here on Robin, but I too use the Jaws PDF creator and it works great, with TurboCAD can't beat the price, or at least you didn't used to be able to. At first glance it almost appears as if they're charging for it now, have a look at http://www.pdfsoftware.com/index.html and see what you think...Mike
