Adding a Diametrical Datum

Adding a Diametrical Datum

Adding a Diametrical Datum

(OP)
I'm looking to add a diametrical datum call-out on a shaft.  I want it to be the square call-out with the filled triangle in line with diameter dimension per the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.  The dimension is on the profile view of the shaft.  I cannot for the life of me find a clean way to do this.  I can float the symbol on one of the outside arrowheads, but it looks bad.  I tried to delete the arrowhead, but both disappeared.

Any help is appreciated.

-Mike

RE: Adding a Diametrical Datum

Vidaman,
go to tools/options/docment pro., dimention standard selected ANSI, and select display datum per 1982, that will work.
