Cross Section text

Cross Section text

(OP)
Hi All

Is there a way to change the system defaults for the text thickness shown on cross section arrows i.e A-A.  I have found one spot but it affects all text and dimenions.

Then when you place your section view the text header is placed like this (section A-A), two sizes of text with different thickness or fonts.

Thanks for any help

Tofflemire

RE: Cross Section text

For example for “SECTION A-A”, if you want to change either just “SECTION”, or just “A-A”, and leave the other one as it is, or using two different fonts and sizes, select from the menu FORMAT --> TEXT STYLE, and now you can pick whichever word you want and change it as you wish.

Hi IM4CAD

Yes you are correct, I want to be able to set this so this in Config.pro or Drawing setup file (.dtl) so these little over sites get done automaticlly.

Thanks for you input

RE: Cross Section text

Never used that kind of settings. This only takes a few seconds, once in a while to modify so I don't feel like I really need them to change automatically.

RE: Cross Section text

Add "def_view_text_height n.nn" to your drawing setup.dtl. Where n.nn denotes the required text height in whatever drawing units you utilize.
