RE: AutoCad 2000- Color width setting

This is how we do it:
Go to the Menu Bar and select Tools/Options and then select the Plotting tab on the dialog box displayed. In the lower right area select the button labled "Add or Edit Plot Style Tables...".  Select the acad.ctb or other .ctb icon. Select either the Table View or Form View tab, then go to each color and go to Lineweight and change the width of each color to what you want.

When finished, either click Save As to save the .ctb under the name you want or go straight to Save & Close to save the .ctb under the current name.
When you come back to the Options dialog box go to the "Default plot style table" and pick the .ctb file you named or modified. Select OK. Quit AutoCAD and restart for the changes to take effect.  You can also create or modify .ctb files from the Plot dialog box from the "Plot style table (pen assignments)."

I hope this helps you.
