drive shaft guard

(OP)
I am looking for a telescopic sleeve to use as a guard for a drive shaft.
approximately 100mm internal DIA X 2600mm long with 1500mm of travel.
The type of guard i have in mind would be made from spring steel strip or plastic and wound in a helical form. I have seen them used as lead screw covers on old milling machines. can anyone help with the name of a manufacturer

RE: drive shaft guard

Birchalls,

Check with McMaster-Carr under the subject of 'protective bellows.'  Maybe this will help.
