Alternate position view dimensions

(OP)
Using 2003, SP 1.0, I am having trouble with a dimension on an
alternate position view of a hydraulic cylinder. I have the cylinder shown
retracted and the alternate position is extended. I have a dimension showing
stroke length. Whenever I re-open the drawing, the dimension has reverted to
showing a zero length stroke with both witness lines at the retracted
position of the rod. I have tried locking focus to the APV, re-applying the
dimension with no success.

RE: Alternate position view dimensions

I might now what your problem is, I need to ask one question. in your drawing you are using the alternate position view right.

Butane,
If you are asking if I am using "Alternate Position View", the answer is yes.
