Explode States in Family Tables

Explode States in Family Tables

Explode States in Family Tables

(OP)
Hi,
I have an assembly that contains a number of instances in a family table. Is it possible to assign a different explode state to each of the instances? The assembly has a multi-sheet drawing and I don't want to have to adjust the explode state in the main assembly for each page that I want to print.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

JW

RE: Explode States in Family Tables

ttx,

Yes, this is possible. Create as many exploded states as you want, then "View-->Dwg Models-->Add model" and add as many instances as you want. When you create your views on the drawings pick whichever instance you need (View-->Dwg Models-->Set model", and finaly use "View-->Modify View-->View Type-->Exploded" and pick whichever State you wish for each view.
You'll have different states for different instances on the same drawing.

I hope this helps.

Thanks im4cad,
Very simple.......
I just wasn't looking far enough ahead to the drawing environment. For some reason, I was stuck in model mode.

Thanks again for the help.
