Substations information

(OP)
I have the REA Substation design manual, does anyone know of other substations design documents published for purchase or available via the Web. I looked at some IEEE papers and some make mention "old" TVA documents and some ABB info. But I did not have luck seraching for these, maybe I am looking in the wrong place.

Any help

RE: Substations information

Please search this site.  Although certainly not all are applicable, "substation design" returns 86 ready pre-answered  hits.

RE: Substations information

ABB publish the "Switchgear Manual" originally published by BBC in 1948 in German and recent updated with available English translation.

This is an excellent engineering reference. However, if you are in the ANSI market, compliance with local standards, regulations or engineering practices may require to be checked.

I am not sure if there is copy available in the internet however, hard copy may be available. Check with your local ABB sale rep for a hard copy
