Printing from E-Drawings Can't 100%, SPR# 68018

There is a general issue with printing in eDrawings where it is not possible to print to a full 1:1 scale, or to any user specified scale. What currently happens in published eDrawings is that the printout is “zoomed to fit” a page, which results in a printout that is approximately 3/4 the size of the paper.
If you also have this problem it can be reported to solidworks, SPR# 68018. Maybe this one will be fixed. have fun make money

RE: Printing from E-Drawings Can't 100%, SPR# 68018

Hello, Have you tried clicking the "scale to fit" box in your file/print window? In e-drawings click file, then click print. Then on the upper right hand side of the printer window there some check boxes. The box at the bottom is the "scale to fit" box. Check that box, then print your e-dwg. That should do the trick.

We have the same problem over here. Our supplier could not repeat this problem, but they do not have a plotter. I will report our supplier that there is a SPR now.

Thanks!

To: Scheidt:
Thanks for the suggestion but I am using scale to fit to no avail. I tried to print on my HP 1220 (11x17) DeskJet, HP LaserJet & laser plotter in the office. I take it you are not seeing this problem? What printer(s) are you using?
