I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A SOURCE FOR 3-D CAD SOILD DRAWINGS ON MOTORS, BY MANUF.#

RE: WHERE CAN I FING A SOURCE FOR MOTORS IN CAD SOLIDS

Yes, there is.  But, it really depends on the manufacturer.  I get the CD's from the Thomas Register, which have such files from the manufacturer.  Some companies provide only 2D imgages for CAD, others have both 2D and 3D solids.  Go to Thomas Register online, and ask for the CD's.  They will arrive in short time, and you will have an entire library at your disposal, listed by manufacturer.  I have used 2D drawings from companies, to generate 3D solids, as the dimensions are available off the 2D drawings.  You will be surprised how many companies offer their 3D solids on those CD's.
The Thomas register will send you the updated CD's as they are offered.  They are free, so no harm in getting them.
