E-COMMERCE PARTS ORDERING

E-COMMERCE PARTS ORDERING

E-COMMERCE PARTS ORDERING

(OP)
I am not sure if this is the right forum or website even to pose a question on e-commerce.
It may be true to say that the Manufacturing sector is lagging behind with e-commerce.I wonder if many companies are in fact selling spare parts etc from the web and how reliable they are.
Does anyone on here recommended buying from the internet component parts for repairing or general maintenance of plant equipment?
The fact that this website is so useful and helpful make me wonder why e-commerce in Manufacturing has taken off like a sky-rocket, or am I mistaken?
Having said all that does anyone know of any good examples of websites from any Manufacturing Industry that sell component parts or deal with maintenance plans.
Once again I apologise if this is not the right place for this thread.
Kind thanks in advance to anyone who cares to respond.
