How to install a software from administrator in WinXP ?

(OP)
Hello,

I update my OS to WinXP Pro from Win2000, there seems no chance to log in as administrator. This leads difficulty to install software from administrator.

Any advice will be welcomed.

At the WinXP logon screen hold down Control and Alt then press Delete twice. You should get the familiar logon dialog that you get in Win2K.

If you haven't already solved your problem, you can also use the free Tweak UI utiliy from the MS Power Toys collection to add the admin screen name to the login screen.
