Multiple rotated cuts using the same axis

Multiple rotated cuts using the same axis

(OP)
Dear Folks;

If, during the course of making a 3d model in sw2001-2003 you have to make many rotated cuts using the same axis, can you choose a common axis or do you have to draw a new centerline every time you create a new sketch ?

Kind Regards

Adrian D

RE: Multiple rotated cuts using the same axis

You can use either a temp Axis, or an Axis you put in yourself as many times as you need to. The axis is not absorbed into the feature, but rather it is it's own feature and can be used numerous times.

Hope that helps,
