Hard time finding metric material

Hard time finding metric material

Hard time finding metric material

(OP)
I am looking for mechanical tubing, 50mm OD x 10mm wall in 316LSS (or comperable). I need a close tolerance on the OD with a descent finish (20-30 is ok), the ID can be less precise.

Didn't have any luck with my normal suppliers, so I'm asking the experts.

Thanks

Thanks for the info.

Just out of shear co-incidence, my purchasing person had called them this afternoon....nothing in stock, but they can get it. Question will be if it is cheaper to go that way, or take 2" tube and roll grind it.

RE: Hard time finding metric material

There are a few places that carry 50 mm tube but finding it with a 10 mm wall might be a problem. I know Swagelok carries it with a 2.5 mm wall. Another couple outfits that might be worth trying are World Wide Metric and GS Hydro.
