BECAUSE I AM USING LONG LAYER NAMES I NEED TO ENLARGE THE LAYER SECTION OF THE OBJECT PROPERTIES TOOLBOX SO I CAN SEE THE WHOLE LAYER NAME OF THE ACTIVE LAYER.
FOR ME THE SECTIONS COLOR CONTROL, LINETYPE CONTROL AND LINEWEIGHT CONTROL COULD BECOME SMALLER

I don't know, but when you find out I'd like to know too - for the same reason.

There is a program at www.manusoft.com called Quikpik that will do this and many other cool things. It does cost a little, but has some pretty cool features, such as a command for locking your toolbars in place so you don't accidently drag them out.
