Allowable neutral current in DG
Allowable neutral current in DG
(OP)
What's the allowable neutral current of a 400V 4-wire DG, solidly grounded? Are there any standards that specify this value?
When was the last time you drove down the highway without seeing a commercial truck hauling goods?

RE: Allowable neutral current in DG
To answer your question, the max Neutral current allowable on a standard gen set would be a value not exceeding the max phase current value or rather the gen flc.
There are no standards which quantify these values as it is upto the user to ensure that the gen and the distribution system is designed to operate safely.
