Substation Design Question

Substation Design Question

Substation Design Question

(OP)
Can someone give me some parameters to evealuate the design of the roadways within a substation. I know of course that my largest load is the power transformer. How can I calculate my widths , radius, etc.

RE: Substation Design Question

Suggestions:
1. Post this topic in the Civil Engineers' Forum Area
2. Visit the nearest switchyard with approximately the same size transformers and other equipment, e.g. a nuclear power plant switchyard, and just measure those dimensions.
Then, compare results from Civil Engineers to the constructed roadways' dimensions.
