Any standard required for EURO HOOK?

Any standard required for EURO HOOK?

Any standard required for EURO HOOK?

(OP)
I have some product which hve to import to UK/France.
The product is packed by plastic, which has a hole for the hook and hold on the shelf.
Does any standard needed for the hole, like the weight range that the hole can afford, or anythind else.

Thanks

Joseph

RE: Any standard required for EURO HOOK?

hexane, I recommend to my customers that they list the weight of the product and porovide safe instructions for lifting by identifying lift points on the product and weight with photographs in the installation manual. If the plastic hole supports the weight of the product then just make sure it can support the weight. DO NOT tell them specifically a type of fork lift or Chain with hooks. Refer them to their local authorities for national requirements for that type of lift with expected weight. Lifting devices are Type approved (licensed)in the EU and if you recommend the wrong device and someone gets hurt you are liable.
