Linked Excel objects disappearing when plotting

Linked Excel objects disappearing when plotting

Linked Excel objects disappearing when plotting

(OP)
We have used small linked Excel spreadsheets for quite a while and been happy with the results. Recently, when plotting, various linked spreadsheets do not plot. The spreadsheet that doesn't plot appears under plot preview, it is just not plotted. It also seems odd that we can plot a sheet one day where everything appears. Open the file the next day, and something does not plot properly.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, have you found a solution? Any other recommendations?

RE: Linked Excel objects disappearing when plotting

A few tips.
1. Make sure Excel is not running when you print.
2. There is a limit of 19 columns x 74 rows for ACAD and a excel ole object.
3. Make sure the ole is not on defpoints layer or a layer that is frozen or is non-plottable.

Good luck
