Homopolar Generation & HP Turbine

I like to know the phenomenon of electromagnetism in the HP turbine due to superheated steam at around 550C (Homopolar generation), turbine rub, bearing current pittings. Could you help please.

Suggestion: Visit

for: rub
etc. for more info.
Bearing current pitting can be caused common-mode currents that are generated by higher harmonics.
Also, the electromagnetism can cause currents that circulates in the turbine or turbogenerator housing.

Thank you.

I am also looking for an explanation of the superheated steam phenomenon in the high pressure steam turbine and when a rub occurs there is a current flow (circulating) that damages the no.1 / 2 bearing. Could you guide me on this superheated steam homopolar generation phenomenon.
