Corrosion Resistance of 316/410 SS Alloys

Corrosion Resistance of 316/410 SS Alloys

Corrosion Resistance of 316/410 SS Alloys

(OP)
Does anyone know of any published atmospheric corrosion studies wherein 304, 305, 316, and 410 stainless steel alloys (as fasteners) were compared?  Looking particularly for US coastal exposures.

Thanks,
Ron

RE: Corrosion Resistance of 316/410 SS Alloys

Climax Moly corp. publicated a book on various SS corrrosion, in the past if you can get a copy it may help. NACE ( Nation Association of Corrosion Engineers) has a set of data books, that would probally answer your questions.
