2k3 Backward Compatibility

2k3 Backward Compatibility

(OP)
Is anyone having trouble opening 2k1 models with 2003?  I've got a model that was OK in 2001, that is opening with parts flipped out of position and rebuild errors all over the place.

RE: 2k3 Backward Compatibility

I have seen that sometimes in major releases of SW. The only way that I'm aware of to fix that is to edit the definition of the mate and click "Align" or "Anti-Align". Depending on which is picked when you edit it.

I hope that helps,

RE: 2k3 Backward Compatibility

Scott is right, although we didn't have any problems when we switched to 2003. But, we did have mega issues when we switched to 2001-plus from 2001. Is your "old" assembly a 2001-plus version or 2001?
