Grouping factors

(OP)
i wonder whether someone can provide information regarding IEE BS 7671 wiring regs,a colleage has told me that when they undertook a trunking layout, they use 3 compartment to alleviate high grouping factors, furthermore that each compartment will contain only one phase, i do have an opinion on this, but would seek more.

Not only is this costley, i would imagine that electromagnet forces, i.e eddy currents may present a probelm.

Can anyone assist????
PS the compartments will consist of mixed circuits that being lighting and small power.
