Clean Power

(OP)
     I've been thinking about trying to clean up the AC that my system uses.  Too much white noise.  I've stopped by several high end shops and been discouraged.  I've seen the Richard Gray's Power Company Power Conditioner, sounds o.k., but the sales pitch sounded like double E mumbo jumbo, something about an electronic flywheel...  I've seen Monster Audio's products, and heard about PS Audio through Stereophile.  I've even thought about snapping ferrite cores onto my power cords.

     Any ideas?  Is there something out there other than the mega buck power conditioners but more sophisticated than ferrite chokes?

     Thanks;

      Josh
