Hey guys, I'm going to be installing TcUA 11.2.3.1_a3g1, and I was wondering if I need more under the hood?
Any thoughts? The need is immediate and would appreciate any input.
Thanks,

RE: New to TcUA - NEED HARDWARE CERTIFICATION

A local install ?
Since Teamcenter is a "server application" , it should therefore be CPU and RAM demanding.
You have a Xeon, which should be the ideal choice and plenty RAM.
In case you would install Active workspace, there might be a requirement for graphics adapter, but also there you have one of the more powerful ones.

Regards,
Tomas

@Toost
Thanks for the input. We will be working off of GM folders. The Teamcenter version will be new to me. I currently work standalone. But GM is asking for us to be connected to their databases. I don't know a whole lot other than Teamcenter is a fully integrated UG and File management system. I am looking into classes here locally to crash course it. I just wasn't sure if I needed to upgrade my computer to handle the additional demand of file mgt.
Thanks!
