Chinese motor repair

Chinese motor repair

RE: Chinese motor repair

It might help to know what this motor is for. The rest of us never saw what that motor came from.

A lot of these small motors are not designed to be serviceable. They can only be taken apart forcefully by breaking stuff.

(OP)
This motor was used in submersible screw pump. since it stopped working after 2 weeks, i started disassembling as sending back to china will be more expensive.

"not designed to be serviceable. They can only be taken apart forcefully by breaking stuff"

this worries me, as both the ends are covered by nylon disk, heating them will help in removing?

RE: Chinese motor repair

It looks like the nylon disc is a press-fit, and there are probably a few positions where the metal sleeve has been crimped / indented to secure the disc - such as the hole or indentation visible in your image.

You can probably force your way into it, but whether you can do much with what is inside is a different question.
