Station Service TX Junction box also AC panel

Station Service TX Junction box also AC panel

Station Service TX Junction box also AC panel

(OP)
Happy Friday everyone,

I am to replace a Junction box (JB) of an AC panel. Only the main Fuses are being used as the Secondary fuse for the station service.

It literally comes into the AC panel, through the 200A fuses and then out to the transfer switch then back to the panel main terminal lugs.

I would recommend having a separate JB for the SS as this creates an arc-flash hazard for personnel whenever they have to go into that AC panel. Does anyone know of any code that requires these to be separate? Or am i out to lunch?
