Punch Operation in NX 11

Punch Operation in NX 11

Punch Operation in NX 11

(OP)
Hi All,

While doing Solid Punch operation in NX 11, that did not came out and NX keep on telling me that "Tool body have sharp edges and try to blend the sharp edges". But tool body has no sharp edges. Sheet thickness is 0.5mm and slot depth in tool body is 0.25mm. I have tried almost 30 - 50 times. Please give me a solution for this problem.

Thanks & Regards,
V.Muruganandam

RE: Punch Operation in NX 11

do you have a part to share - there's not really enough info to comment?

RE: Punch Operation in NX 11

You might try to assign a very small blend like e.g. 0.01mm.

Guys...Thanks for the reply. I find out the mistake. I assuming that, the sheet thickness and the slot depth should be same. Then only the Punch operation will be performed.
Is that correct, What I'm assuming here? If not, Please give me a solutions.

Thanks & Regards,
V. Muruganandam
