connection modelling in abaqus (time history analysis)

connection modelling in abaqus (time history analysis)

(OP)
Dear all,

I am planning to conduct a time history analysis of simple masonry residential building (two floors) with
a shallow foundation, this includes the soil block with a time signal beneath to simulate an earthquake.

I am looking for tutorials or manuals on how to manual different connections in Abaqus. For example:

(1) girder - wall connections
(2) floor - wall connections
(3) foundation - wall connections

I refrain from using
solid elements for the building (only shell and beam elements) which are only used for the soil block.
It would be great if anyone has a reference for me.
