Importing Image with transparency into drafting

Importing Image with transparency into drafting

Importing Image with transparency into drafting

(OP)
Hello All,

Struggling with this feature in NX. I am trying to insert an image into my drafting sheet but have some issues with that.

Using "insert - image" I select an png image with transparent background. The problem is that the transparent background shows as white on my Drawingsheet. So I end up with a big white rectangle.

When I do the same in Modeling the transparency is working correct and I only see what is meant to be seen.

This happens both in NX9 and NX11.
Anyone else have the same experience? Solutions?

(I checked the image by importing it into MS Word and also there the transparency is working as expected)

RE: Importing Image with transparency into drafting

Simple answer is it's not possible to have the transparency work in drafting.
