EDD damaged insulated bearing pass insulation resistance test?
EDD damaged insulated bearing pass insulation resistance test?
(OP)
Is it possible that a (suspected) EDD failed insulated bearing could be subsequently dismounted from shaft and pass an insulation resistance test?

Please take some time out of your busy schedule and prepare a meaningful query. If you have no time to make a meaningful query, you should not expect others to spend time for you free of cost to understand your query and to respond.
A simple way to show respect to other professionals is to make the query as clear and simple as possible.
RE: EDD damaged insulated bearing pass insulation resistance test?
reference EASA Std AR100-2015 which i found online here, https://www.easa.com/sites/files/resource_library_...
it states at 4.2.7 that bearings for AC VFD driving drives should be evaluated for AC impedance. I understand the electrical model of insulated bearing to be capacitor in parallel with resistor. So testing a bearing with DC insulation resistance test will not tell the whole story if it passes. The bearing could still pass AC current at higher common mode voltage frequencies produced by the drive correct? Can anyone recommend/advise if there is a test set on the market that can be used to get the impedance/frequency plot of the bearing
