Electric motors for M.A.V.

As in one of my earlier post I described a 3 rotor MAV, The propellers Im using are 5 feet in dia. If I go with electric motors to propel them what size motors do I use and where do I get them from. I can not find any info on electric motors.

RE: Electric motors for M.A.V.

At the very least you need to specify power, rpm, AC or DC, voltages etc. 75 hp electric motors aren't unusual, but light, cheap, efficient ones are non existent. I'd guess you will need a reduction drive, but that is a guess.
