Piping Cleanliness. (LNG)

Why is it necessary to do a cleanup run of the compressor piping systems (LNG), when the pipes had been chemically/mechanically cleaned after fabrication, preserved, and cleanliness ensured prior to installation ....?

RE: Piping Cleanliness. (LNG)

Because, as they work, the pipe fitters don't really care if debris enters the system ???????

The debris still can enter the system during the reinstatement after the cleanup run.

RE: Piping Cleanliness. (LNG)

Dear Bayan,

Those debris would be caught by filters installed up-stream to the compressors.

RE: Piping Cleanliness. (LNG)

IMO, the clean procedure during the fabrication prior to installation is to facilitate the finally clean up before start-up for the LNG system. Is it also related to the quarantine requirements for the import material from other countries?

RE: Piping Cleanliness. (LNG)

What exactly do you mean by "clean up run". Rather vague wording not really describing anything.
