NX9 - Edge Blend Between Intersecting Features

NX9 - Edge Blend Between Intersecting Features

(OP)

Hi,

I am wondering if you can edge blend between two intersecting features. In the image attached you can see a sweeped handle against a surface. This is intended to 3D print but I cannot edge blend the point at which the handle intersects with the surface.

Is there anyway arround this?

Cheers,
L.

RE: NX9 - Edge Blend Between Intersecting Features

In order to use an Edge Blend there needs to be an actual 'edge' which will only exist if the two bodies have been first United into a single body. Now it is possible to create Face Blends, under the right circumstances, between disjoint bodies, but the result will probably be a series of sheet bodies.
