What is the angle between plane of gear in solid modeling?

What is the angle between plane of gear in solid modeling?

(OP)
Hi dear
I'm modeling dynamic simulation of two gear with each other in inventor software
I assigned the center of distance of them but I don't know how I could define the angle between plane of each gear not to have clearance or interference in motion
would you mind if any one guide me in this problem?
thanks

RE: What is the angle between plane of gear in solid modeling?

ali moghadam,

Gears have a characteristic pressure angle, but this has nothing to do with clearance or interference. What you need to do is model the involute face.
