Assembly Cut

(OP)
We are making a lot of coveyors out of anodized aluminium tubes. These tubes come with a lenght of 6m. When making a conveyor voor 10m we use 2 tubes to make it 10 instead of 6m.
Can I use something like assembly cut or promote body te get the exact length and still have the amount of 2 (of 6m)tubes in my partslist?

RE: Assembly Cut

Yes promote the one of your choice and move the face of the one you promoted back 2m. Hope this answers your question.
