LV/ MV Power Cables Designation

(OP)
Dear all,
I have to make a mto for the following cable:

Cu 3Rx4Cx300sq.mm,

Does it applies for 3x(4x300) mm2 Cu Cable?I mean 3 multicore cables of 4 cores each of 300mm2 Cu each core.

Thank you very much in advance.

RE: LV/ MV Power Cables Designation

G'day mcm00048,
The great thing about standards is there's so many to choose from. Since the nomenclature isn't defined in any "official" standard, the only way to know for sure is from the author. However it is common in these things for the "R" to abbreviate "runs", consistent with your interpretation.
John.

Dear John, thank you very much from your Reply. I am doing a design vetting, and I found at the end the document native from author, you were right. it refers to cable runs. Is there any document/ guide of cable Designation?

Thank you so much!
