Cyclic Loading Simulation

Cyclic Loading Simulation

(OP)
My final year project requires me to simulate cyclic loading on a simple geometric model (a disk) of the knee articular cartilage (incompressible solid). Can anyone please guide me to relevant guides on how to use Abaqus to complete this task as most youtube tutorials only seem to simulate crushing of cylindrical object. Thanks in advance.

RE: Cyclic Loading Simulation

Hi there,

You can apply an amplitude defined as periodic on any type on boundary/loading conditions.
Tools>Amplitude

It is really flexible to simulate any cycle.
