Hydrojetting pressure calculation for Exchanger

Hydrojetting pressure calculation for Exchanger

Hydrojetting pressure calculation for Exchanger

(OP)
Dear Friends,
Could you please help me to get the reference for calculating the hydro jetting pressure in heat exchanger.
What are all the factors which we have to consider and on which code it is clearly specifying. I had gone through API 660 and I couldn't find any relevant data.
Please help to resolve this task.....

RE: Hydrojetting pressure calculation for Exchanger

adil menon, are you talking about a cleaning process? Not sure why you'd need to "calculate" a pressure? I doubt this is covered by any Code or Standard.

Regards,

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Yes regarding the cleaning process only.
We had an exchanger with Crude service need to be cleaned by hydro jetting.Tube thickness is 1.6MM only and I have to calculate the suitable pressure for the same.
how can I proceed the cleaning with hydo jetting.

RE: Hydrojetting pressure calculation for Exchanger

I'd suggest you contact an experienced contractor.

Mike
