When I send an e-drawing to someone the redlining tools are grayed out. The measure is enabled but not the review..Is there a way to allow others to redline an e-drawing?

This will be the case unless you buy the deluxe version of the e-drawings. The free version doesn't have the redline function.

I have SolidWorks Office 2003 with e-drawings professional version 3. sp01. Do I still need to buy up?

Let me ask another question, does it matter if the edrawing is an autocad or solidworks drawing? I am trying it with an autocad drawing..

RE: E-drawings 2K3 sp1 review enabled?

I think it does matter if it's an Etch-A-sketch drawing. The Etch-A-Sketch drawing will not have model data in it. This may limit what eDrawings can do. I would suspect that it was "coded" that way. As I am sure that the Etch-A-Sketch people are not SldWks's favorite folks :)

Sean,
According to my VAR, the autocad drawings should have the tools for redlining and measuring as well.. I don't use autocad, but we have autocad legacy data and our electrical guys do so being able to open an autocad drawing in edrawings is a nice feature for redlining if I could only get it to work..
