Help. How and where to make magnetic fluid

(OP)
I have a experiment requiring magnetic fluid, but I am unsure how to obtain and combine necessary elements.  Iron particles?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Meant to say how to make and where to buy elements for making magnetic fluid.  Thanks

RE: Help. How and where to make magnetic fluid

Was just researching this exact thing myself.  You can buy magneto-rheological fluid from the company at this link.  Incredible stuff, you can apply a low voltage current and the stuff solidifies !!!
