Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program

Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program

(OP)
I am a fan of the Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program. However, the last time I used it was in NX8.5, and now am working on NX 11. All of my curve data is NX 11, which I cannot open in earlier versions of NX. I have attempted to us your grip program but keep getting the error "1545025 at line 114 Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file. Subscript of an array is out of range." Not sure what that means. Does this program work with NX11?

Thanks,

RP

RE: Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program

It should, but I can't verify that as I no longer have access to NX, old or new versions.

I'll see if I can track down another way to extract the data. It was a great grip program and very useful. Thanks for posting it, as I am sure many people made good use of it. Take care and enjoy the retirement.

RE: Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program

I tried it, it runs for me. ( there is no "preselection highlight" but apart from that it seems to be ok.)

I did however have another version from John which allows for single curve selection.
( i do not have the source for that.)

RE: Pts_Along_Curve_to_txt-file grip program

With that error message, could you have too many points along your curve for the program to accept?
Try a simpler curve for testing.
