NX11 - Solid Sizes Not accurate?

NX11 - Solid Sizes Not accurate?

NX11 - Solid Sizes Not accurate?

(OP)
When making solid bodies, for instance a simple block, some of us are having problems with the bodies not coming out the correct sizes. For instance if we make a block 50 x 50 x 50, then if you do an info length to an edge, it will read 50.000028456. Sometimes it will go the other way and be 49.999983456 or something.

I am told it seems to be around 4 or 5 decimal places before you get a number that is not a 9 or a 0.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The strange thing is, it doesnt happen to everyone. Just certain designers. So I tend to think it is a setting that needs to be changed on their NX.

RE: NX11 - Solid Sizes Not accurate?

I would try resetting the dialogs, so that any values entered are cleared.
