Circuit breaker close permissive

Circuit breaker close permissive

(OP)
Hello

I have a doubt regarding The circuit breaker close permissive indication "CB READY". We have some interlocks downstream & they are not taken in logic of CB ready, so in case there is no close permissive the CB ready indication appears. Please need to know the part of standards which say the CB ready indication should also include interlocks & is really CB close permissive

Best regards

RE: Circuit breaker close permissive

I don't think you will find any standard that specifically mentions that signal. these are developed based on years of experience, trial and error and safe operation of the switchgear and is different for each industry.
you should have years of experience to understand the need for the signal. use the experience of utility engineers in your area or use drawings of similar projects.
