Hi
I would like to have some information about bonding of communication tower with main ground grid in electrical substation
in our country (iran) communication tower in substation have separate ground system.

RE: bonding of communication tower in substation

Separate grounding systems in a substation greatly increase the possibility of lethal touch and step voltages as a result of a ground fault or of a lightning strike.
While instrumentation and communication people like to have their own ground system our codes require such grounding systems to be solidly connected to the main grounding grid.
This is a life safety issue.
