Cast iron welding rods perhaps

Lots of info on welding ductile iron on the web. We have a local foundry that routinely welds their DI, using 308 filler wire. They tightly control their iron chemistry so I can't tell you how they do it. Most sources say using high Ni content rods and some preheat will help prevent cracking.
